性狀：
B型硅膠為乳白色透明或半透明球狀或塊狀顆粒。B型膠孔結構介于粗孔、細孔硅膠之間，孔容為0.60—0.85ml/g，平均孔徑為4.5—7.0nm，比表面為450—650m2/g。
用途：
主要用作液體吸附劑、干燥劑和香料載體，也可用作催化劑載體，硅砂，以及用作層析硅膠等精細化工產品的原料。
